Data input

Enter your data and personal information. Please note: the third and fourth contact times (which are p.m.) should be submitted 'European style' , for instance 13: 35: 23 , not 01:35:23 p.m. Latitude and longitude are to be submitted in decimal degrees. South latitudes are negative and longitudes west of Greenwich are also counted as negative. For example: Berlin is at latitude 54.033 and longitude 10.450, and Santiago de Chile at latitude -33.450 and longitude -70.667.

The calculator operates on Dutch time only (this is Universal/Greenwich Mean Time + 2 hours). If observing from another time zone, you must recalculate your data accordingly.

Clicking on 'submit' puts your observations in the database and you are registered as an observer. This also transfers you to the page with the on line calculator and the world wide list of observers.

NB: do NOT enter leading zeros in the time fields (not 13:03:05, but 13:3:5)
